My brothers used to handcuff my sister and I while our mum was out
Sam Frost tells bizarre story from her childhood on radio
She’s never been shy about revealing details about her personal life on breakfast radio.
And on Wednesday, the 27-year-old recalled a bizarre story from her childhood on her 2DayFM Hit 104.1 Rove and Sam radio show, saying her older brothers used to play pranks on her and her sister Kristine while their mother was out of the house.
The brunette star said her brothers Jeff and Steve would use handcuffs to lock their sisters to the laundry pipes and the bunk bed in their family home.
Sam told her co-host Rove McManus her brothers were often left with the responsibility of babysitting herself and Kristine while their mother was either at work or stepping out to the shops.
But instead, the boys used to get up to mischief and made their sisters the subjects of practical jokes.
Sam said: ‘What my brothers used to do is, they used to have these handcuffs and they would handcuff myself to the laundry – the pipes in the washing machine – and I would just stay there the whole time.’
Sam’s mother had no idea about the mischief her sons were getting up to as they always made sure to uncuff the brunette beauty and her sister before she got home. But Sam revealed they were caught once.
‘One time mum did come home and I was handcuffed to the pipes in the washing machine in the laundry and mum’s like, “Sam, what on earth is going on?” and I’m like, “Mum, this always happens”.’
The story was told as part of a segment in which Rove encouraged listeners to share their own tales of siblings being ‘jerks’.
She added: ‘My sister would get handcuffed to the bunk bed. So the boys could just run around and be hooligans.’
