Thugs attack each other with Irish hurling sticks in terrifying fight outside of a school as parents collect their children
Thugs armed with sticks were filmed hitting each other outside of a school while parents were collecting their children earlier today.
Men and women were involved in the altercation, which took place near St Kierans School in Bell Steel Road, Poleglass in west Belfast.
In the video, a group of people are seen standing around someone, who seems to be lying on the floor, while two men are stood nearby holding the sticks.
The group manages to help the person up, and then an altercation starts between the two men and another woman.
It is thought to be one of a number of incidents that have taken place in the area following a separate incident.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman said: ‘Police investigating an incident on the Bell Steel Road on Monday, January 16 and arrested a woman aged 22 on suspicion of assault and threats to kill and a woman aged 38 on suspicion of assault.
‘Both women were later released on police bail pending further enquiries which are ongoing.
‘Officers would ask anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police in Woodbourne on 101 quoting reference number 536 16/01/17.’
