For the first time ever the Bloodhound SSC racing car is going on show to the public in London’s Canary Wharf.
A total of 8,000 visitors have secured tickets to today’s event where they will be able to explore the jet-powered Land Speed Racer including its high-tech cockpit and rocket motors, as well as learn more about the project.
The car is the result of eight years of research and its visit to London from the project’s workshop in Bristol is the latest step in its bid to break the world land speed record in South Africa in 2017.
