The law enforcement in the Caucasus Mountains said today the snow sport enthusiasts ignored warning signs preventing them from snowboarding in that particular area, which was restricted.
They added the boarders ‘paid the ultimate price’.
Horrifying CCTV footage, posted on YouTube, shows the avalanche crashing down the mountain, with a shocked man heard desperately making a mobile call to his friend pleading: ‘We need to call Koshak.
‘Koshak! Run! An avalanche is right over you! Run, Koshak! I see people being swept away! Run!’
It is believed Koshak – a nickname – survived because the male voice said: ‘You’re lucky to be alive, dudes! Two are ****ing killed.
‘Just swept away. Mother******. Stupid idiots you are.’

Vladimir Shanin, a tourist from Moscow, who wed his wife late last year, wrote a note on his page in social media shortly before his death which read: ‘Never give up, it’s such a wonderful life.’
His wife’s account was today full of condolence messages.
On March 2, Yana posted her last picture – she and her husband posing near a small mountain river.
The caption said: ‘We have been riding, then fishing, then cooking what we caught.’
The deputy of the local mountain search and rescue team from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Albert Hadzhiyev, said: ‘The northern slope of Mount Cheget is dangerous because of avalanches.
‘The victims deliberately went to snowboard there. They passed all the restraining barriers, rose higher, and began to descend on the virgin snow.’
Barriers and warning signs were prominent, he added.
Rescuer Ruslan Dzhappuyev said: ‘This slope has been closed from the beginning of the season.
‘There are red flags everywhere. Not to see them is simply impossible.’
